This vinyl record player was designed by Charles Pyott, and as you can see it brings in the cool with it's sleek design, and has shed the clunkiness from it's predicessors. The thing runs from a USB jack, which means that it's functional as long as you have your laptop nearby. The only drawback is that it's not yet in production. I'm hoping that someone will find a way to make it work without a laptop as a power source, only then will my dream of a travelling vinyl player come true. So this is what I'm waiting intently on it, saving up my pennies to purchase my dream portable vinyl player of the not-so-far future.
