the Miscellaneous Adventures of Andrew Grove

There are moments when you just get inspired, be it from a book or a visit to the art gallery, and all you want to do is set about creating or dreaming of things that can be. In my life, I am frequently awestruck by the majesty of nature. I appreciate the interplay between man and his surroundings, one constantly trying to get the better of the other. The man builds a house, nature breaks it down, man fells a tree, tree falls on man etc. but there are instances when man gets right with nature and they begin a friendship that is mutually respectful and beneficial.

At least this is what I'm reminded of with Andrew Grove's aptly titled Miscellaneous Adventures. An illustrator by trade, he spends some of his downtime creating some of the most marvelous of trinkets outside his farm in the UK.
